Kristian Coronel (Pasty) – “Pass -tee”
Founder / Creative Director
Kristian “Pasty” Coronel is a Melbourne-based Filipino architect and interior designer with more than two decades of experience across hospitality and residential projects.
He began his interior design career in Singapore, working with an award-winning international interior design firm on major projects including Armani Hotel Milan, ITC Grand Chola, Sofitel Nusa Dua, and Metropolitan Hotel Tianjin.
After relocating to Australia in 2016, he continued with leading design practices, contributing to projects such as The Star Sydney, Ritz-Carlton Perth, Eden Oak Hotel, Caption by Hyatt Sydney, and Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo.
Today, Pasty leads Design Translation Australia, bringing together design creativity, technical understanding, and practical problem-solving to create spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and memorable.

Although Design Translation Australia was recently established, it is built on more than two decades of industry experience.
